| From the Where2sing.com forum: HI Dean....its no use to try and find reasons because every thing in life has its time , for karaoke its now cooling alittle after a very big 2003 /2004 , the market is now changing , something i said would happen on this site many ,many months ago & if i remember advise all to take stock of things and brace for it back then, its nothing to with charging to much or sounds or numbers of discs , its more to do with 'over-kill of one type of entertainment & the employers of such entertainers braceing for a new era in the hospitality industry , but karaoke will always be around but maybe in some change of format & more targeted at certain groups, but there will always be the small corner pub doing karaoke ,mainly that all they can afford, or karaoke will be filling up the sunday to thursday entertainment gap & 'live music ' will domonate the fri & sat entertainment night.
