| From the Where2sing.com forum: This time Dave I,m only going 2 ask one simple question....have U actually tried 2 pay with a credit card thru your system? why do U think I keep asking U? I repeat, the IS no facility or ability 2 pay thru your system!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe I,ll explain....... If I click on subscribe now, it takes me 2 a screen which gives me options 2 pay 3months, 6months or 12 months, using US or OZ dollars. So I click on 12 months OZ dollars and then subscribe now and this comes up...........
Subscriptions
St George Bankpayment:
Use anypayment methodavailable to you (eg:phone banking, Internet banking, over the counter banking) to deposit
$68.95 into this account:
BANK: St George bank
Bsb:112879
ACCOUNT: 107 904 667
NAME: David Kenward
and you (or the bank teller ) must include this reference number:
836836
That is word 4 word what comes up on the screen, I,m sure U know.
I'll repeat it again, can U now see, there are no options 2 go 2 2 pay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When U finally get around 2 explaining 2 me how I can use my credit card 2 pay U I,ll be happy 2 send U 5 years worth of subscription!!!!!!!!!!! But I will not go 2 the bank 2 pay over the counter. I,m sure there has 2 b a way 2 pay thru my computer short of opening a Paypal acc myself which I wont do. I,d also like 2 point out that if I,m having so much trouble, I,m either worse than I thought, Or hundreds, maybe thousands of potential subscribees have simply given up because its just not possible 2 subscribe thru your prompts......oh I 4got there is an apparent option 2 pay using someone elses acc on paypal or.......just sell something on ebay.........u r kidding arent u? Do U yet see or am I nver gonna get anywhere?
Desperate 2 sign.......
REPLY from David Ah, I see what you're missing. You're presuming that you can only pay with Australian dollars, and therefore you're choosing St George Bank. And you're seeing my bit of info at the end of that screen about other suggestion of how to pay with things like Paypal, and thinking that's the Paypal info I'm talking about. Sorry.
I've now changed the screen in light of the problems its causing, and I hope now it'll make sense:
The first column in now called 'pay with your Credit Card (Paypal accepts Visa, Mastercard & Amex)' and this is the column you want. Don't worry that the prices are in US dollars, because your credit card company will automatically exchange that into Australian dollars (they'll pay for you in US dollars but charge your card in Australian dollars).
When you select one of the 3 options in this 'Credit Card' column and click on the 'Subscibe now' button, you'll be taken to the secure Paypal website. I suggest your do *not* open a Paypal account (they'd like you to - ignore them!) and just pay with your credit card.
The next time you come to the W2S site, you'll arrive at the main page and should see a 'welcome' message up the top with details of your subscription (this can take up to 20 seconds to come through from Paypal). You'll also receive an email from me with my undying gratitude and congratulations.
Of course, if this still doesn't make sense, please do go on telling me specifically what isn't making sense. As you say, for every one who says they are having difficulties, another ten say nothing - so I do thank you for sticking with this...
