| From the Where2sing.com forum: vocalpro; I just think we need to be carefull before we start quoting definitive figures without knowing the real facts...60db ?.....I just walked around my house with db meter in hand.......the sound of normal footsteps +the flip flop of my thongs was around 60db with peaks of 70db.......passing Traffic as measured from off my Deck outside ......up to 80db+
Tried adjusting my upstairs sound system to play at 60db ( measured @2 metres).....about the same level as MUZAC in an elevator probably even less....until a bit of bass kicked in which at that level will also peak around 80db......so the 60db doesnt make sense at all......yes I know they are politicians making the rules.....but the surely cannot be that out of touch?
