The letter we send is an introduction to us and what we offer. As for who am i to judge what is quality and std priceing.... mate it's not rocket science.... any good operator of ANY business knows who the good competition is and knows the average pricing of the services offered if you don't then get out of the industry befor you go broke (any industry). It is also not hard to keep track of whats going on due to sites such as this when reading posts and the new and removed gigs area, also we listen to what is being said at our gigs from singers on other venues they have visited . Its all part of keeping on top of whats going on. I see you are a host from Vic, I cant make any assumptions on how you guys work but in the Brisbane area there are a large group of hosts that know each other and get together regularly to discuss the industry and what we can do to improve it... and yes they also make comments on this site. So in closeing yes i have a very good idea on what quality is and what the std rates are for our area.
