David ....the less they know the better!!.....LOL.....seriously ..at the RG for example on a normal busy night ...after about 10.30pm most do not have a clue as to where they are in the rotation.....and really its only those that are at the venue wholly and solely to sing and NOT to enjoy the social aspect of karaoke that even know where they are in the rotation.....most if not all regulars just do not seem to care about rotation and a far busier talking and drinking.....and when they hear their name they come up for their song........In general our rotation of around 30 singers stays pretty accurate (with a few newbies thrown in here and there) up until about Midnight..........THEN...all hell breaks loose!!....LOL......... Then.basically the rotation goes out the door when the number of singers can increase from 30 to anything up to 70 within the hour.....then we need to fit in as many as possible before 2-2.30 am.whilst still trying to satisfy those that have been there all night.It aint easy!!
