From the Where2sing.com forum:

hi David I cannot recognise where I have been discourteous in my remarks to you...it may well be that you are over sensitive. You are absolutely correct when you said that we seem to be on different educational and intellectual level. You are quite rigid in your outlook whereas I am the opposite. Rigidness does not necessarily mean high intellect....it may mean the opposite. I am a student of psychology and I am wondering what the underlying motives are here. Are they of jealousy? But of what? You do not know me from a bar of soap...at least this is what I think. However you have heard me sing.....you are not jealous of my singing ability are you David? You seem to point towards that direction...but in order to cover up you 'commiserate' by saying "Naturally I am not implying that this is the case here "end quote. I am sorry David but I cannot continue to correspond with you .....only on your conditions. You are evasive at times....and in others you concur....but in the majority you seem to not. Best regards to you and wish you all the best with Where2 Sing Regards

Not over sensitive, and of course delighted to hear that comments such as 'why are so devoid of common sense' are ranked as courteous amongst those which which you habitually communicate...lol. My interpretation of copyright law, or my 'outlook' as you prefer to call it, is based on Australia's Copyright Act. This is not a loose document - the wording is precise and all encompassing. Therefore my interpretation is similarly disciplined, or 'rigid' as you may term it. I sincerely hope your 'jealousy' comments were tongue in cheek, or that at the very least you appreciate that singing in tune is another skill that you may need to hone - I apologise in advance if that seems harsh, and I realise that you are, like many of us, purely a social singer whose songs are best heard live with a fair bit of reverb and a little more alsohol on board, but I would hate to think you believe that your singing quality is anything more than the very bare average heard at karaoke gigs every night of the week.
