| From the Where2sing.com forum: Would people like to comment on the present distinction between gigs shown in the main listings, and those listed under Rooms, and under Restaurants?
The impact may be that a couple of restaurants presently in the main listings may get moved to the Restaurants listings, or that some get moved the other way. I need to have a set criteria for what goes where. At present, if a venue requires partons to buy a meal in order to sing, it goes into the Restaurants page - one reason being that I reckon Restaurants and Rooms should pay for their listings as they get a high dollar amount from each customer, and that their karaoke is definitely a directly commercial venture.
The other reason for the separate lists is that the normal karaoke night is on once or twice a week, whereas a Restaurant or Room generally has karaoke on every night that they trade. The couple of karaoke restaurants that are in the main listings have karaoke only a couple of nights a week.
Some karaoke rooms have a large dining/function room. Should they be allowed to choose whether they appear in the Rooms or the Restaurants page - or which one should they be in?
What criteria should determine whether a Restaurant gets listed in the main listings rather than purely on the Restaurants page?
